Description

A birch plywood proprioceptive board with two training heights and 4 pre-set training positions.

IRONLEG is equipped with a useful rubber mat to prevent it from becoming unstable on slippery surfaces.

IRONLEG’s solid construction provides a hard-surface platform, the ideal training environment for learning better foot control. Proprioception is a sensory phenomenon that requires input. Unfortunately, soft surfaces take these inputs away. IRONLEG’s hard surface provides instant feedback to your brain about the position of your foot. When you FEEL a better position, you learn a better position. This helps improve foot control and stability.

IRONLEG is designed with a hollow area under the toes to prevent you from using a grip strategy and teaches you and your feet to push the big toe down to find stability through the arch. More activation of the big toe equals more power.

The axis of movement in the IRONLEG is not just random like in a balance board. IRONLEG is designed to simulate the axis of pronation and supination in the subastragalic joint. Because that’s how your foot really moves. It’s quite simple: instead of swinging in space on a BOSU or a balance board, we train your foot and ankle the way they were designed to move. It’s a better learning environment for your foot for better results.

We designed the IRONLEG to work with a wide range of foot sizes: from 6.5 for women to 12.5 for men. If your feet are smaller or larger than this, you can however use the IRONLEG.

Children can also use the IRONLEG.

Moreover, with the double height of the two lower supports, the workouts vary and the load capacities are different.
